The City Hall Foyer art display is comprised of a single wall in the main thoroughfare of Jeffersonville City Hall. The display wall is 17 feet long with a clip rail-mounted approximately 12 feet in the air

Whats Possible?

1. 2D or Relief work can be hung using clip rail cords and STAS security zipper hangers.

2. Anything that can be printed on a traditional gallery card for mediation of sale is possible.

Additional Information

1. The space has high foot traffic and no security on duty. STAS security zipper hangers allow for work with a wire on the back to be locked into the clip rail and removed with a screwdriver to ensure security. The space is monitored remotely with cameras.

2. The gallery currently has 5 clip rail cords. Therefore this space can
accommodate a maximum 10 Pieces per display (5 clip rail cords available-2
works per cord)-there are absolutely no nails to be used in this gallery space.​​

​3. Available for Group and Solo Exhibitions.​

4. Artist will be expected to hang their own work in the space, once they have received training on the clip rail system.

5. If any work is for SALE a method to allow for viewers to access the Point of Sale of the artist's choosing must be provided on the gallery cards.

6. Gallery cards and a run of 50 postcards will be provided by Jeffersonville Art.

7. A small pedestal can be provided for a gallery book/postcards if desired.

Things to Note:

1. These are for temporary run gallery-style shows of artwork. (No ads etc will be considered)

2. For any gallery shows: artwork that fits the space for the time period allotted will be selected for the show. This could be a group or individual show.

3. For any gallery shows: individual pieces can be submitted for inclusion for a group show CURATED by Jeffersonville Art.

4. Jeffersonville Art will not mediate or facilitate sales. Any sale must be handled by the artist or their representative through a point of sale. Information can be provided to the viewer at the exhibit about the artist's preferred method.

5. Jeffersonville Art will NOT take a percentage of the sale of artwork during the season.

6. While pieces that are for sale are welcome, a piece does not have to be for sale to be submitted for display.

7. It is free to submit pieces and propose exhibtions.
